Manchester based developer; Nook & Key have appointed NoChintz to design their latest show home. Nestled in the town of Hyde, the exciting development consists of sixteen luxury apartments that sit within a Grade 2 listed church and fourteen, three and four bedroom executive family homes.
NoChintz have been involved in the selection of finishes, alongside the selection of complementing furniture. The vision for the home was to create a mature and refined Scandinavian space – with the use of both hard and soft materials.
The living room is minimal, yet inviting – with accents of terracotta sitting softly against a warm grey palette. The furnishings are dark, complemented by a combination of succulent and large leaf planting. The study has been designed to create a dark snug, tucked away at the rear of the house – with matte black furniture, abutted against dark green walls.
Each bedroom takes an alternative role within the house. The first, which hands itself to the light – has been kept peaceful and bright, with soft linen bedding, minimal styling and complementing artwork. Dimmable soft-glow lighting allows the space to feel calm and spacious. The rear bedroom has been furnished with darker accents, to contrast against the first bedroom, with muted tones and large planting. The master bedroom, which sits on the third floor of the home, is bright and spacious, with warm tones and soft furnishings contrasting against concrete furniture pieces. The apex of the roof frames the double bed creating a beautiful, relaxed space.
