We recently completed the design and re-fit of a wonderful apartment in our favourite Manchester development; The grade II listed Edwardian Century Buildings.
Our design solutions included bamboo work surfaces and glossy integrated storage to provide a practical and stylish approach to modern living. We installed a floor to ceiling copper pillar that created a distinctive centrepiece and elegantly disguised and existing structural support.
Utilising space was essential and a couple of innovative solutions, including using the blackout blinds as a projector screen for the lounge area, added to the sleek and considered feel of the space. This was counterbalanced with homely, space-saving touches such as country-style ceiling mounted pan racks and a hidden clothes maiden.
In the bedroom we incorporated rich, gold tones with luxurious elements; wrap around wall-coverings, a 1950′s illuminated mirror and 5amp lighting, all to create a boutique hotel atmosphere at home.
