– The Brief

3M commissioned us to design a stand for them to promote 'Command Strips' at the ideal Home Show, Earls Court, London 2010. They wanted to appeal to a wider audience and the interiors/ domestic demographic. We were bought on board to think of innovative ways to use the strips in a domestic environment but predominately within a student and rental market.

– Our Approach

'Make your mark without leaving a mark' was the strap-line used to show cleaver ways of hanging pictures and other items to walls and surfaces where you weren't allowed to drill or 'make a mark'.

Our design was to show two living spaces within the stand: The first - a shelving system that held plates/ dining items that could be taken off the wall to create the dining area - ie using the chairs as shelves. The second - looking at a hallway where you could hang coats etc..
