We have just completed designing and furnishing a new show home to market four unique properties on Chorlon Green. Formally an old school built by the Church of England, the property dates back to 1879.

Converted into four-bedroom townhouses by a private developer, NoChintz were appointed to create a show home that would enhance the already impressive spaces that have retained key original features including the pitch pine roof beams, old fire places, brick and stone walls as well as the original windows.

The look was created by mixing vintage finds along with high-end designer pieces. A nod to the classroom, and some playful touches have remained true to the spaces history, whilst showcasing the family friendly home.

We are excited to reveal the show apartments we recently created for Urban Splash’s development Longlands, Stalybridge.
The one and two bedroom apartments are part of Urban Splash’s regeneration of Longlands, the oldest surviving cotton mill in the area. Currently being developed into shops, cafés and gardens as well as apartments, the site where the mill sits will be revived after being dormant for nearly 50 years.

The one bedroom apartment has been designed with an outdoor theme, situated next to the river bank and the canal the influence of nature and the environment can be seen through various elements, including blue and green colours. Modern furniture pieces are used in the lounge area to keep a contemporary feel.

The two-bedroom apartment has retro influences throughout, the master bedroom has a light airy and luxurious feel. The second bedroom has a elements of the nature theme carrying on the trend of bringing the beautiful surroundings of the building inside.

We also created a Marketing suit for the Longlands site, this included adding a beautiful image of a Deer on the main wall.

Space at Longlands is available now; contact Urban Splash for more information or visit www.urbansplash.co.uk/longlands

NoChintz has created a modern family feel to Plumlife’s new 3 bedroom development in Clitheroe.

We painted the children’s bedroom with Blackboard paint to add quirky yet fun touch. Warm blush pink and olive greens were used in the bedrooms to provide a relaxed feel, the living room and dining room space were kept modern and clean with natural and blue palate.

Plumblife is part of Great Places Housing Group, an award winning housing association based in the Northwest. They are a not-for-profit company which specialises in delivering government backed schemes such as Shared Ownership to help working people get on to the property ladder.

NoChintz loves this Bookshelf wallpaper by Young & Battaglia.

Used in the apartment we created for Urban Splash development Saxton, Leeds, the wallpaper has a vintage library look and is a unique yet classic twist on traditional wallpaper.

Available from Rockett St George – www.rockettstgeorge.co.uk in two colours; White and Vintage, the wallpaper is textured to give it a realistic bookshelf effect.
