This week NoChintz’ Hannah and Carma were lucky enough to be treated to a visit to ISH, a week long trade fair showcasing the best and future in bathrooms, building, energy, air conditioning technology and renewable energies, at Messe Frankfurt. With over 2400 exhibitors, the designers introduced to some of the market leaders and products that are shaping the future trends in bathroom design.
Some of their favourite exhibitors included the concept bathrooms designed by Werner Aisslinger and Tina Bunyprasit for Kaldewei, pushing the boundaries of bathroom furniture, as well as the room sets for Villeroy and Boch showcasing their on trend bloc colour ranges of sanitary ware. Also the following caught the designers eyes:
The latest in bathroom accessories this manufacturer have been producing and developing in Lingen for over 50 years. EMCO are developing EMCO Touch, which offers a touch sensor intergrated into a cabinet that allows the lighting to be brightened/dimmed on 3 levels (Warm & Cold) to suit the individual. Emco are also pioneering a new colour technology that shows different coloured lights effect peoples moods and at different times throughout the day.
Pioneering new material unique to Kaldewei-Steel enamel combining the strength of robust Steel mixed with the tough glass to produce a long lasting material.
Duravit were one of the main companies that were showcasing there products/innovations at ISH this year and what caught my eye was their latest in innovation/Technology with the C-Bonded technology. The C-Bonding has been developed by Duravit to bond seemly together to blur the lines between furniture and sanitary unit. The ceramic fits accurately onto the vanity unit creating a uniformed unit.
Thanks to Utopia Projects and C.P. Hart for taking the team along.
