Following the success of our work for Private White V.C. for the factory store in Manchester, NoChintz were appointed to refurbish the existing menswear store on Lamb’s Conduit Street in London.
We took the feature wallpaper we used at the factory store and used this as inspiration for a more monochrome approach, creating a high end looking retail space. The existing ply floor was stained black and all the walls and fixtures painted an off white colour.
The materials used in the Private White V.C. clothing were incorporated to bring details to the store; copper was brought through in the lighting, as in the factory store, leather handles were used to refurbish the vintage fixtures and leather suspended rails for side hanging.
The store is fairly compact and we maximised the display by bringing in gallery style fixtures, vintage display cabinets with copper rail details and a beautiful antique counter. Existing features of the shop were retained in the design, such as the concrete block ceiling and the industrial ceiling lighting.
