A series of new curated art murals for East London’s canal system have been Commissioned by The Legacy List as part of a new creative partnership with the Canal and River Trust, there will be a number of new works installed in selected locations along the Lee Navigation and Hertford Union canals.
The project is working closely with local artists, internationally renowned street artists and communities, staging a series of workshops, events and discussions to encourage local participation and involvement.
As part of the project artists Mark Lyken and Teo Moneyless have recently collaborated to create a huge wall mural over five days in Hackney Wick, London. Film maker Gordon Beswick captured the entire process in this video.
