In addition to all the Christmas festivities we’ve been working on this month, we also had a sneak peak into the New Year as we designed and printed the Spring/Summer 2013 look book for George at Asda.
The section-sewn, oversized B5, 56pp look book showcased what’s to come in summer style trends across womens, mens and childrenswear and was given out exclusively to journalists attending the launch event at The Hospital Club in London earlier this month.
George were really keen to show off all the latest trends they’d been working hard to achieve and we suggested a larger format book than usual which made the most of the beautiful photography.
We also ran with a wonderfully tactile cover stock which really brought to life the fabric detailing image we used, especially as it was offset with a spot UV of the George logo. Another nice little touch and a nod to the clothing featured was the inclusion of the George tag, printed on a raster emboss lightweight paper stock, as a tip-in that sat in front of the introduction page.
