Following our recent design collaberation for Natural Retreats JOG residences, this month we once again joined forces with our Yorkshire friends over at naughtone.
With the launch of several new products on the cards a ‘pop up’ show room on Great Eastern Street, directly opposite The Hoxton Hotel, was a great opportunity for the British designers to showcase their new range.
With new products such as the stackable Bounce Chair: inspired by vintage school chairs, and the Cloud high backed sofa with beautifully structured, quilted upholstery – a very raw and industrial space was the perfect place and contrast to house the new collection.
We complimented and highlighted their British made furniture by designing a simple, yet effective wooden structure to surround the various furniture stories on display and also a huge lighting installation, which spanned accross the ceiling and above and around their products – again aiming to enhance and not detract from the beautifully designed and manufactured furniture on show.
In addition to the set and lighting installation we also designed the accompanying printed literature, working with a beautifully tactile lightweight Bible paper to produce a leaflet that concertina-folded out to a poster, detailing all of the furniture on display. We also produced all the exterior vinyl graphics spanning the huge glass windows that faced out onto Great Eastern Street.
The naughtone pop up runs until early November, Great Eastern Street, East London.
