NoChintz’ Studio and Finance Manager Laura visited Barcelona recently, here are some of her highlights and pictures from the trip:
The Heat was immense at a stifling 31 degrees so the perfect refuge was on the Italianate arcaded Placa Reial Square, just off Las Ramblas, people watching with an ice-cold beer under the palm trees by the fountain of The Three Graces.
We were really spoilt for choice for great food, it was a case of too many nice restaurants not enough time. I was particularly pleased with the array of fresh ice cream and sampled some at least twice a day!
Another favorite was the La Boqueria market that was an incredible maze of all the fruits, meats and cheeses you can think of.
There was so much design to be admired all over the city. The Gaudi architecture was breathtaking, especially the La Sagrada Familia which was memorizing.
