Beijing architect Naihan Li presented crates that unfold to become a collection of furniture at The Beijing Design Week.
The collection named ‘The Crates’, is made up of Sofas, beds, bookshelves and football tables that all unfold from compact crates into stylish and fully functioning furniture pieces. The style and feel of the collection represents not only Beijing but much of the worlds fast paced, ever changing, style of living.
The 2011 Beijing Design Week is the first of its kind in Beijing as they works towards becoming a more environmentally friendly, high-tech and culturally-enriched city.
