We were pleased to help out our friends Wayne & Jane, over at North Tea Power last month. We designed & fitted their brand new espresso bar, the perfect place to show off the brands new pourover & aeropress filters.
The bar made from vintage potters boards was to be an extension of their existing service area & a more social area to stand & sit. The Vintage boards were sourced from a former english pottery house & each section has its own unique charm that has been grown over the years of use. A layer of clear sealant was used to both preserve the rustic aesthetic & ensure the functionality of the surface was suitable. Industrial, galvanised components were also used to support the boards & tie in with the aesthetic of the existing space.
We also look forward to the next NoChintz installation coming soon to the popular Northern Quarter Tea & coffee house, so watch this space!
North Tea Power is a unique new cafe concept. Taking tea into the 21st Century, North Tea Power serves Manchester’s 1st espresso machine tea, alongside fine coffee’s & cakes.
